Rocky, Linda, and Rocketman are on the Road

Welcome to my Blog.  We plan on traveling the USA in our RV and sharing our adventures with other.  We like to visit places, see unusual things, and taste the cuisine of the locals.  I hate to go to "chain" restaurants all the time and my wife, Linda, loves the cooking channel so We so look forward to going "where the locals" go.  Often, once we settle down into a new RV park, I will strike up a conversation about where people like to go and eat.  It often ends up with us enjoying a great meal, and sometimes the company of new friends.  Just recently we were in Fayetteville, NC and found a little place that was country style food.  It wasn't fancy (paper napkins and plastic plates), but who cares--we went for the food.  The place was packed with people and we waited 10 minutes to get seated--but it was worth the wait.  If you are ever traveling through, it is a short distance from I-95.  It is Fred Chason's Grandsons located on Marracco.  The address is really Hope Mills.  We just love trying out new places, and I want to develop this blog site with neat stuff like, a Pig Photo Contest.  Every b-b-cue place has a pig out front.  We have seen some creative (and spooky ones).  I think it would be fun to get pics from all over of the pigs!  We also love to wander about shops, historical places, and senic beauty in the little things in life.  Take for instance, we recently toured the Bourbon Trail in Kentucky.   Each of the six distilleries has a different recipe to produce bourbon.
